Our organic farm is set in the centre of the Salento countryside, an ideal place to cool off and enjoy nature before moving on to discover the fantastic Salento region. Messer Gesualdo is an elegantly designed structure in the classic "masseria" style with an internal courtyard.
The area is very rich in culture and traditions that our guests will be able to experience through the work of local artisans, or by tasting local food and wine.
We are just 10 minutes by car from the wonderful coastal towns of Castro or Santa Cesarea terme where you can bathe or take a boat ride and admire the coast from the sea. From our Agriturismo you can easily reach all the other main tourist attractions in the area: Lecce, Otranto, Gallipoli, Leuca, as well as the famous beaches "laghi Alimini" and "Maldive del Salento".
If you are interested in shopping we suggest you don't miss the market in Poggiardo, an ancient custom that originates from the "rinascimento" period and where you can find all sorts of things.
